Job Summary
Temporary Full-Time Maintenance Clerk II position in Discovery Co-op's Maintenance Department (North Battleford, SK). Responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance programming and services for Discovery Co-op locations and tenants in the Mall; logging daily inspections of refrigeration, HVAC and fire suppression systems; completing daily and preventative maintenance requests; performing tenant improvements and repairs; conducting daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and addressing deficiencies; recommending repairs or safety enhancements; coordinating snow removal and mall access; maintaining perimeter security; operating the fire panel and sprinkler systems; adhering to Co-op policies and procedures; and supporting a team in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Knowledgeable of HVAC controls and operation
- Familiar with fire suppression systems
- Trade certification in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing is preferred
- Fireman boiler operation certification would be an asset
- General computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
