Temporary Food Service Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day school food services for breakfast, lunch and snacks, ensure NSLP compliance, prepare and serve meals directly to students, track meal participation in the POS system, maintain organized NSLP documentation, monitor and communicate lunch balances to families, stock and store supplies, clean and maintain stations, and support the school Operations Team with a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach; requires food handler certification and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- A valid Food Handler’s Certification (or the ability to procure one)
- Experience in large quantity food preparation and service
- Ability to read and comprehend recipes and nutrient analyses, meal trackers, and NSLP applications
- Comfort with technology, including but not limited to email and basic software applications
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, including stooping, bending, and reaching
- Proven ability to work as a member of a high-functioning and often fast-paced team
