Job Summary
Temporary fair workers perform a multitude of tasks to ensure fair-goers have a fun time at a clean and safe event, with opportunities in Service Operations (custodial, customer service), Administrative Operations (data entry, clerical tasks, cash handling), or Facilities Operations (maintenance, basic electrical/landscaping knowledge). The role requires reliable teamwork, strong communication, adaptability to varying schedules and conditions, and willingness to work outdoors and indoors during the Thurston County Fair window (late June to early August). Positions begin mid-June to late July and run through early August; multiple openings exist. Salary ranges from $17.13 to $20.00 per hour; overtime eligibility applies under FLSA.
