Temporary Executive Administrative Assistant - Organizational Advancement

Temporary Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Organizational Advancement Officer (COAO) at Ohio History Connection. The role coordinates and manages the COAO's calendar and travel, assists in preparing meetings with research, documentation, and presentation materials, takes minutes, and balances competing priorities to ensure timely completion of projects. The Assistant serves as a trusted partner to the COAO and interacts with leadership, donors, members, and staff, handling highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities include coordinating portfolio of projects, preparing materials for meetings, maintaining the COAO's calendar, arranging travel, supporting financial operations (including state capital budget tracking and timely expense payments), and ensuring efficient operations. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, proficiency with office software including Microsoft 365, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accountability. Work environment offers an option for hybrid remote schedule; occasional evenings/weekends and infrequent travel to sites.
