Job Summary
Deliver friendly, professional hospitality and support front of house and back of house operations during events. Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown, including tables, service stations, and equipment. Accurately prepare, package, serve, or deliver food and beverages according to quality standards while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all workspaces. Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth execution, respond to guest requests promptly, and follow all food safety and health department policies. Load and unload catering vehicles, transport food and equipment safely, complete opening and closing checklists, and manage inventory. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of restaurant, catering, or event experience
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if required by law (Certifications differ per state)
- Transporting and carrying objects (such as bus tubs, trays, trash cans, and food plates) up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–12 hours depending on the event)
- Ability to safely move tables, chairs, coolers, catering equipment, and supplies
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks
- Exposure to hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and potential allergens
