Job Summary
Provide thorough cleanings, prophylaxis, periodontal screenings, and patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Maintain accurate patient records, collaborate with the dental team, and strictly follow infection control protocols to ensure a clean environment. Perform these duties independently while adhering to all safety standards. This two-week temporary contract runs February 22 to March 1 with a competitive hourly rate of $40-$45, offering daily pay and a six-day workweek with a one-hour lunch break.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene or related field
- Current licensure as a dental hygienist in North Carolina
- 2+ years of experience in dental hygiene
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with digital dental records and modern dental technology
- Availability for training before the two-week contract
- Availability to work from February 22 to March 1 (2 weeks)
