Job Summary
Temporary Consumer Lending Loan Coordinator role focusing on delivering exceptional member service and supporting Direct/Indirect lending processes from loan approval to funding. Responsibilities include handling member communications, preparing letters/reports, maintaining loan-tracking records (Symitar, UCC), coordinating documentation for funding, ensuring confidentiality, evaluating pipelines to meet production goals, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and suggesting process improvements. The position requires knowledge of internet-based loan origination software, lending principles, compliance, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Location-based in Santa Rosa, CA, with a rotating schedule including some Saturdays; California Insurance licensing is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities; thorough knowledge in Internet-based loan origination software; knowledge of lending principles, practices, rules, regulations, and sales; knowledge of compliance requirements; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people including vendors and other Credit Union team members; ability to act independently and confidentially, using discretion and tact; ability to analyze situations and recommend workable solutions; ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work; ability and desire to work in and contribute to a team environment; ability to work a rotating schedule including some Saturdays (1-2 per month); Licenses: ability to be a registered and designated Credit Endorsee with the California Department of Insurance.
