Job Summary
The Stylist will serve as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor who assists customers in selecting Kate Spade products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. They will greet guests, listen to needs, provide styling advice, create complete looks, guide purchase decisions, and reinforce customer relationships. Responsibilities include demonstrating deep brand and product knowledge across categories, maintaining stockroom organization and POS transactions, and contributing to a seamless checkout experience. The role emphasizes customer focus, storytelling, and an ability to work collaboratively in a retail environment, with a flexible schedule and a requirement to lift merchandise as part of store operations. The position is with Kate Spade New York (a Tapestry brand) and requires professional selling skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and comfort with omni/virtual selling techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills
- Ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs) and maneuver on sales floor and stockroom
