Job Summary
Facilitate visitor experiences in the new Art Lab installation by greeting guests, introducing modern and contemporary art concepts, and guiding age-appropriate activities that connect lab explorations to MoMA's collection. Assist with daily space maintenance, including cleaning and organizing materials, while collaborating with Guest Specialists to answer questions, manage waiting lists, and administer surveys. Support seasonal family activations during events like UNIQLO Family Days. This role requires availability for fluctuating weekday and weekend shifts, including holiday periods, with hours ranging from 6 to 24 per week. Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children and/or families in an informal learning environment and facilitating play
- Knowledge of modern and contemporary art and artmaking
- Strong front-facing hospitality and engagement skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
