Job Summary
Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards. Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition and provide client recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration of plant equipment. Offer technical input on welding and metallurgical issues while guiding the application of non-destructive examination techniques. Fully comply with all safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives. Assignments vary in duration based on project requirements and business demand. Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570 is required, with 5–10 years' experience preferred. Willingness to travel is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570
- 5 – 10 years' experience or 2+ years on site experience
- Willingness to travel if needed
Desired Qualifications
- Additional API 653 or CWI a plus
- In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
- Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
