Job Summary

Temporary Animal Attendant (4 months) at Cornell Ruffian Equine Specialists (CRES) to support faculty clinicians, LVTs, interns, residents, and staff in delivering optimal patient care. Responsibilities include restraining patients for procedures, assisting in surgery and in radiology/imaging, assisting in the barn (stall cleaning, feeding, grooming), and maintaining professional communication with staff, students, technicians, veterinarians, and clients. The role requires flexibility to cover day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts; candidates must meet physical demands (standing, kneeling, lifting, restraining large animals) and have a High School diploma with at least one year of equine handling experience in a clinical setting.
