Job Summary
Enter invoices into company software, create invoices, and process remittances for EFT/ACH payments. Reconcile credit cards, manage data archival of AP invoices and statements, and assist the Accounts Payable Analyst with vendor payments and bank statement reconciliations. Complete general office tasks including answering phone calls, filing, and mailings, while creating and maintaining procedural guides for invoice processing and GL reconciliation. Create entries in the general ledger, cash management, and accounts receivable, and review cash reconciliation by Front End staff to investigate discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for external and internal customers. This full-time, non-exempt Grade 7 position supports the Finance department's daily functions within City Market's local food system.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Accurate keyboarding, ten key calculator skills, & proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or related area preferred
- Two years of accounting or of experience working in accounting, or related field preferred
