Job Summary
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while adhering to safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA standards. Monitor equipment during production, make necessary repairs or adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on weekends. Rebuild equipment as required, assist with installation of new equipment, and manually grease, change oil, and clean various plant equipment. Work closely with other maintenance personnel to share job information, and be prepared to work other shifts when necessary. This role requires good hand-eye coordination, the ability to lift over 40 pounds, and tolerance for varying climates and physical demands. Candidates must complete mandatory online training and have at least three months of maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout)
- Must be able to comply with OSHA standards
- Saturday and Sunday work required
- Must be able to work with other devices that are very fragile and require precise attention
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Capable of moving equipment, machinery, etc., in excess of 40 pounds when needed
- Must be able to work on and inspect equipment, which may involve bending, turning, stooping, twisting, and climbing
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to reach, lift and work overhead
- Must be able to walk, stand or sit for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to complete mandatory online training
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must have at least 3 months of maintenance experience
- enrollment in a maintenance / mechanical program can be considered in lieu of experience
