Job Summary
Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan lessons, establish learning objectives, and present subject matter using instructional strategies like group discussions and demonstrations. Develop, select, and modify instructional materials while evaluating student progress through appropriate assessments. Maintain classroom order, ensure student safety, and participate in teacher-parent conferences as needed. Monitor equipment and facilities, attend collaborative planning sessions, and actively contribute to instructional goal setting. Improve skills in current educational trends, multicultural content, and technology applications. Work flexible schedules as required by the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in related field of education from a regionally accredited college or university
- Three (3) years administrative experience with proven knowledge and application within the related field
- Excellent communication – written and oral communication – in both English and the target World Language
- Good organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations
- Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint)
- Bilingual/Biliterate in the target language: French, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish native or near native
- Active licenses, certifications, and enrollment
