Job Summary
TEMP-Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster responsible for adjudicating higher-technical-complexity workers' compensation indemnity claims for GA on a temporary assignment. Roles include investigating claims, reviewing forms/end endorsements, setting reserves, coordinating resources, negotiating settlements, and producing file documentation while working within defined limits and overtime requirements. The position is in-office or remote with a projected end date and requires a bachelor’s degree, GA license, and relevant experience; compensation ranges vary by location and sponsorship is not available. The role emphasizes independent judgment, strong communication, and the ability to analyze claims to achieve favorable financial outcomes for the company.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
- Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience adjudicating medical only claims beyond the minimum experience required above may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- License required in GA
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships
- Strong claim negotiation skills
- Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to read and write English fluently
