Job Summary
Truck Driver operates a straight box truck to transport materials, baggage, or equipment over specified routes, loading/unloading with/without helpers, and performing basic vehicle inspections while complying with DOT/state/local regulations. The role requires maintaining logs, coordinating with dispatch, and completing timesheets; availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays with potential overtime; candidate must be a US citizen and pass background checks and drug testing. Office is on Fort Knox, KY with on-site work expected. Strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and timely communications with management.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess and present a valid state Real I.D. Driver’s License.
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must conduct pre and post Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services.
- Must maintain logs of working hours, following applicable regulations and requirements.
- Must be able to operate a box truck safely and efficiently.
- Must be able to read a map.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, understand English, and follow written/verbal directions.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate requirements, sometimes under short notice, to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Overtime may be required.
- Employee must complete timesheets daily, ensuring accurate data, both manually and via required system.
- Must submit to and pass random drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Must perform other duties in accordance with requirements as directed.
- Security Requirements: Must be a US Citizen.
- Must undergo a background check and pre-employment urinalysis.
