Temp to Perm Payroll Administrator

Job Summary

Process the full-cycle bi-weekly payroll using Paycom, ensuring accurate salary disbursements and tax compliance for all employees. Manage employee data updates, including new hires and terminations, while administering wage garnishments and tax liens within the system. Perform regular audits of payroll data and timecards to resolve discrepancies, and generate custom reports for management. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay and withholdings. This remote role requires minimum three years of payroll experience and advanced Paycom proficiency, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in payroll administration
  • Advanced proficiency in Paycom
  • Experience with Paycom HRIS, Time and Attendance, and Tax Management modules
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Solid understanding of multi-state payroll regulations
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
  • Utilization of digital collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to handle sensitive financial information with total discretion

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
