Job Summary
The Target School Coordinator will support the program development and implementation for Brandeis University's Upward Bound grant aimed at increasing college attendance among low-income and first-generation college-bound high school students. Key responsibilities include identifying and selecting students for the program, supervising student tutors, maintaining communication with Upward Bound personnel, and handling reporting and records for federal guidelines. The role requires a Master’s Degree in a related field, at least two years of relevant experience in the target school, and strong computer literacy and communication skills. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in related content area preferred
- Must have been employed at the target school for at least two years in a position that routinely interacts with the student population
- Basic computer literacy skills with email, Microsoft programs: Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and EXCEL
- Demonstrated competency in self-motivation and initiative
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
