Job Summary
Specimen Collector role responsible for accurate collection and processing of laboratory specimens (oral, urine, and/or blood) across multiple clinics; emphasis on patient experience, data entry accuracy, HIPAA and OSHA compliance, and ability to travel between clinics while maintaining professional communication and documentation. Responsibilities include order entry and specimen labeling, adherence to collection protocols, ensuring specimen integrity, and contributing to a compliant workflow; requires attention to detail, effective communication with patients and staff, and a proactive, patient-centered approach.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- ability to navigate between multiple clinics
- Successful completion of motor vehicle record check
