Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions while assisting with care plans to promote short and long-term outcomes. Prioritize daily patient flow, coordinate care with the team, and maintain accurate documentation of assessments and incidents. Listen to patient and family concerns, provide education on health issues, and communicate pertinent information to providers while upholding confidentiality. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, seek professional development opportunities, and mentor other nurses through preceptorship.
