Job Summary
Conduct preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on pharmaceutical facility and utility equipment while maintaining compliance with cGMP requirements. Operate facility equipment, troubleshoot critical systems, and interact with vendors to drive manufacturing improvements. Support alarm management programs, validate calibration efforts, and maintain records for manufacturing equipment and critical systems. Perform non-routine tasks, off-hours duties, and follow safety SOPs under supervision. Work the 2nd shift (1:30 PM–10 PM) in shop, lab, and office areas with exposure to noise, temperature extremes, and radiation. Requires a high school diploma, minimum two years of experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Experience with Building Automation Systems
- HAZMAT training
- Proficient with use of hand tools and power equipment
- Demonstrated mechanical ability
- Willingness and ability to obtain Boiler Specialist License
- Current Fireman's License
- Current, valid Driver's license
- Ability to read & create engineering drawings
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload
- Familiarity with use of computers and MS Office
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Up to 5%
- Ability to operate production equipment and hand tools
- Ability to operate company truck
- Ability to operate computer/office machines
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Willingness and ability to obtain Boiler Specialist License
- Current Fireman's License
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical Plant/Maintenance/manufacturing Operations or related environment
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques
- State boilers 'Special License to Operate'
- Electrician's license
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Formal cGMP training
- Experience reviewing/updating Standard Operating Procedures
- Experience maintaining operation records
