Job Summary
Network Tech at Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) works with IT staff to maintain the Agency's information systems and resources. Responsibilities include daily maintenance of systems (operating systems, networking, applications support), and serving as part of the help desk to support systems within the Agency. Requires investigating end-user and manager-reported issues across local and wide area networks, software applications, and hardware; maintaining information security; collaborating in a team to meet agency information management needs; and continuing professional development through workshops and literature. Must be able to travel frequently overnight, some weekends, and overtime. Technical familiarity with Windows Server, TCP/IP networking, Citrix Terminal Server software, and database management is expected, along with the ability to enhance knowledge in these areas. This is a full-time, nonprofit role located in Wilsonville, Oregon, with benefits and Equal Opportunity Employer status.
Required Qualifications
- One-year related experience OR combination of equivalent education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to travel frequently overnight
- Some weekends and overtime required
- Knowledge of Windows Server
- TCP/IP Networking (including internet and intranet technologies)
- Citrix Terminal Server Software
- Database Management
