Job Summary
Conduct long-term tutoring sessions for students in the School District of Palm Beach County, adhering to adopted policies and procedures. Maintain professional conduct in the best interest of students while supporting the District's Mission Statement. Perform other duties as assigned by school administration. Complete required forms for federal, state, and School Board compliance, including benefits enrollment and drug testing per Policy 3.96 or 3.961. Undergo a pre-employment medical examination and background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration and Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Submit a resume and comply with all District responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board
- Completion of forms related to the employee benefits package
- Compliance with School Board Policy 3.10
- Completion of drug testing pursuant to School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961
- Medical clearance from professionals selected by the School Board (if applicable)
- Meeting the Word per Minute (WPM) requirement for the given position (for Non-Instructional Applicants applying for clerical positions)
- Permission to furnish confidential records to the Department of School Police and/or the Division of Human Resources
