Job Summary
Conduct front and back office functions including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying insurance, and processing payments. Obtain medical histories, interview clients, and provide education on reproductive health options, contraception, and STIs while ensuring informed consent. Perform clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, conducting pregnancy testing, administering injections, and performing phlebotomy. Assist nurses and clinicians during procedures, prepare exam rooms, and operate medical equipment including EKG machines and ultrasound devices. Complete daily quality control logs, maintain infection control protocols, and manage patient flow to support abortion services and reproductive health care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- willingness to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
- At least one (1) to two (2) years experience in a clinical setting
- Availability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Venipuncture and Injection training
- willingness to complete Venipuncture and Injection training within one (1) year of employment

- Reproductive health care experience
- Knowledge of surgical services
