Job Summary
Monitor patient health, administer basic care, and implement nursing interventions within the LPN/LVN scope of practice. Collaborate with the team to address physical, biopsychosocial, and cultural needs while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Provide safe medication delivery, report status changes to registered nurses and doctors, and maintain accurate documentation of patient symptoms and progress. Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors, and coworkers to resolve concerns and support wellness goals. Full-time night and day shifts available at Longleaf Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current LPN/LVN license as required by state
- CPR certification
- De-escalation/restraint certification
- First aid (based on state or facility requirements)
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years' of nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility
