Job Summary

Temporary HR Coordinator at Embassy Suites Temecula (Temecula, CA) responsible for aligning HR strategy at the hotel, ensuring ADA/compliance, handling harassment investigations, leaves of absence, recruitment, onboarding, wage and hour compliance, workers’ compensation, and collaborating with hotel leadership and corporate HR to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover. Duties include payroll oversight, HR policy adherence, employee relations, HRIS data accuracy (Paylocity/Paycom), recruitment branding, onboarding support, training and development initiatives, recognition programs, and maintaining employee records. Position is 40 hours/week, June–October 2026, on-site at the Temecula property; hospitality experience preferred and bilingual Spanish/English desirable.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related role, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong Self- Starter Mentality – Proactive, resourceful, and able to take initiative without constant supervision
  • Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, HRIS system, and Applicant Tracking System
  • Understanding employment laws and regulations related to HR practices
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Hotel experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English is not required but highly desirable
