Job Summary
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, specializing in welding to ensure tool availability during overhaul. Execute building maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and painting while completing accurate records of all inspections per manufacturer standards. Assess equipment for preventive maintenance needs, review findings with the Director of Facilities, and lubricate or clean parts as required. Ensure proper ventilation, lighting, and climatic control to meet 14 CFR Part 145 standards while following all operating manuals for safety compliance. This Temp position in Medley, FL, requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and one to two years of facilities maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
- One-two years' experience in facilities maintenance or a combination of education/experience
- Specialize in welding
- Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements and personal protective equipment
- Basic knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, welding, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property
- Valid driver's license and maintain motor vehicle record
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions and build plans in English
- Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions
