Job Summary
Perform dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, obtain radiographs, and chart findings while educating patients on oral health practices. Collaborate with the dentist to manage patient oral health, detect disease, and apply cavity-preventing agents and sealants. Maintain and select appropriate instruments for treatment. This temporary full-time role covers maternity leave from mid-December for 8-12 weeks at Bourbon Family Dentistry in Paris, KY, with potential conversion to permanent status.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or the successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene
- State license
- X-Ray & CPR Certification
- 1 year of previous dental hygienist experience
