Job Summary
Primary case management for individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders under supervision; assist clients to live independently in the community; Shifts available: limited duration full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday; starting wage range is $21.00 - $25.15 with geographic differentials; PTO, holidays, CEUs, tuition discounts, 401K, and employee benefits; includes driving clients to appointments using personal or company vehicle; San Bernardino, CA location; Telecare mission and ACT program context.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent and three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services; OR Associate’s degree and two (2) years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in Social Services
- Must possess at least 1 year of experience providing services as a Substance Use Specialist in addition to the requirements above
- At least thirty semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in behavioral or social science, or
- Sixty semester (90 quarter) units of completed college coursework, which includes 15 semester (23 quarter) units in behavioral science, Psych Tech courses and Alcohol and Drug Certificate courses are acceptable.
- AND one (1) year experience providing mental health services including interviewing and referring participants and performing crisis intervention, or
- Three (3) years of experience in a behavioral health department which involved direct participant contact, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science and six (6) months experience providing mental health services including interviewing and referring participants and performing crisis intervention.
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.
