Job Summary
Ensure proper tapes are archived for releases by locating final products and verifying metadata accuracy. Create Archive Packing Lists with Artist, Title, and Track details for vendors, and update the Transfer Tracker for current production requests. Schedule pick-ups of archive supplies and address sourcing issues with vendors by finding alternative sources if tapes are problematic. Correct errors in the Master Library System database based on research or vendor information. Work with librarians and engineers to protect, preserve, and produce master tapes for some of the most iconic albums in music history.
