Job Summary
Teach Pickleball classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans while managing class sizes of 8–16 students and maintaining a positive, energetic environment. Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, interact with parents and school staff, and capture class photos for documentation. Complete a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting. Work Monday through Friday between 1:00 and 5:00 PM, with one class per day and possible pre-care time. All equipment is provided; candidates must have reliable transportation. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, fully vaccinated, and pass a TB test and Live Scan background check.
Required Qualifications
- At least High School or equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must have reliable transportation around the East Bay and Peninsula
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
- Must be able to attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Pickleball teaching or playing experience
- USPTA/PTR certification
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
- Passion for sports
- Love working with kids
