Job Summary
Staff the front desk by answering phones, authorizing access, and monitoring building security. Enforce facility policies with residents, guests, and visitors while conducting routine safety checks of entry and exit points. Maintain common areas by reporting appliance, plumbing, heating, or electrical issues and perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Log visitors, record significant events, and distribute messages or packages. Respond to emergencies, model respectful interactions, and support case management by reminding residents of appointments. Work overnight shifts at the Francis Place Apartments, a 42-unit affordable housing program utilizing the Housing First model for chronically homeless and disabled adults.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Ability to work effectively with individuals displaying a wide range of behaviors
- Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to make sound, independent decisions without direct supervision
- Proven reliability and dependability in work history
- Flexibility to ensure adequate shift coverage
- Commitment to a team-oriented, respectful workplace
- Alignment with the mission and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and deliver culturally competent services
