Job Summary
Conduct routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies using MPI, WI, Test Procedures, e-Traveler, and other supplied documentation. Set up test devices with hand tools or automatic methods, document results, and perform simple repairs or component replacements as needed. Differentiate between real and false rejects, addressing and correcting false rejects related to setup or operation. Maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions while testing assemblies to verbal or written instructions. Requires 2-4 years of experience with 5DX and Telecommunications, Networking, or Switchers appliances, plus ability to lift 50 lbs. Available for OT, weekend work, and minimum 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience with 5DX
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand verbal instructions in English
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have the ability to test assemblies to verbal or written instructions, or by following Test Process Instruction
- Must have basic understanding of Electronic Networking Appliances
- Must be available for OT and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr./wk
Desired Qualifications
- at least 4 years experience with Telecommunications, Networking, Switchers appliances as Test Operator
- experience with ICT
