Job Summary
Design and deliver engaging Telugu language lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing while adapting methods for diverse learners. Develop and update curriculum materials, design assessments, and track student progress in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Introduce students to Telugu culture, traditions, and history through events and activities, providing one-on-one assistance to struggling learners. Maintain classroom discipline and handle behavioral issues professionally to foster a supportive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Telugu language, Telugu literature, education, or a related field
- Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu
- Strong command of English
- Previous teaching experience
- Patience and empathy
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources for teaching Telugu
