Job Summary
As a part-time Teller at a branch, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with banking transactions, maintaining accurate cash handling, and balancing at end of day. You will educate customers on digital platforms (online banking and the mobile app), identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing through tailored solutions, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role is 25 hours per week across Monday to Friday (Thursdays off) in a Mona Vale, NSW branch, on an 18-month contract, with comprehensive training and supportive team guidance to help you grow within Westpac. You will engage with customers to resolve queries, refer complex needs to Home Loans or Business Banking specialists, and contribute to a welcoming in-branch experience.
Required Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: ideally in a customer-facing role
- Numerical Skills: proficiency in handling cash and an ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
