Job Summary
As a Universal Associate (Teller) at Resound Credit Union, you will be the frontline representative serving members by processing transactions (deposits, loan payments, cashier's checks, transfers, check cashing, withdrawals, bank-to-bank wires) and maintaining accuracy per policies. You will verify and reconcile transactions, help prevent fraud, handle account maintenance tasks (debit cards, checks), and support product/service cross-selling. The role requires staying knowledgeable on rates, fees, and promotions, educating members on digital solutions, and participating in training and team activities. Strong customer service, cash handling, and compliance with banking regulations are essential, along with the ability to balance cash drawers and collaborate with colleagues to ensure secure, high-quality member experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum one year of customer service and/or sales experience with cash handling is required.
- One year of teller experience is preferred.
