Job Summary
Teller Supervisor oversees teller-area operations, ensuring efficient management and accurate, quality service in daily transactions. Responsibilities include supervising tellers, assigning duties and schedules, monitoring cash limits and shipments, approving teller transactions, tracking branch activity and attendance, guiding tellers on policies, contributing to goal attainment, identifying staff training needs, coaching on cross-selling bank products, resolving customer issues, providing backup for CSR duties, and ensuring monthly audits and compliance. Requires ability to work in a controlled, alert environment; may require alternative regional location and completion of BSA/AML and other compliance training. Prior education in high school/GED with related banking experience preferred; strong supervisory and operational knowledge is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
