Job Summary
Teller (Member Service Representative) at Sound Credit Union’s Kent branch handles member financial transactions, responds to inquiries, builds relationships, and provides information on account status, balances, and loan details to deliver exceptional service. The role requires 1 year of customer service experience, cash handling and retail sales experience preferred, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent residency. The position is in-person with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays. The compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.50 hourly (full range up to $25.00 hourly) with quarterly incentives, and benefits including health coverage, 401k match, PTO, and other perks. Employer sponsorship for employment authorization is not available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One-year experience in a customer service position required
- Cash handling and retail sales experience preferred
- Notary and NMLS certifications necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law
