Job Summary
Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cashier's checks while verifying endorsements and identification. Provide card support, execute wire or ACH transfers, and troubleshoot credit or debit card issues and online banking questions. Balance and maintain the personal cash drawer and branch vault, and educate members on self-serve options. Work face-to-face with members through lobby, drive-thru, phone, and remote channels to build strong relationships. Sit 90-95% of the day using a computer 98% of the time, with shift times from 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and 7am-3pm on Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of customer service or professional experience working with people and/or cash handling experience
- Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team and ability to collaborate with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time Management skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on department and member needs
- Flexibility to adapt and succeed in a dynamic environment
- Ability and drive to provide exceptional service to members and employees
- Intermediate computer skills and the ability to navigate between multiple systems with ease
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to approximately 50 pounds
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
