Teller

Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing. Balances cash drawers daily and manages cash, checks processed, disbursed, and voucher debits and credits. Welcomes members, provides routine service information, directs members to appropriate departments, and cross-sells credit union services. Fulfills Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities by gathering information for CTR reporting and monitoring suspicious activity. Trains and mentors new employees while performing miscellaneous tasks such as typing, filing, computer input, and answering the telephone. Full-time position in Edwardsville, Alton, and Pontoon with a starting rate of $16.02/hour ($16.50/hour for bilingual candidates). Requires six months of cash handling experience, a high school degree or GED, and strong keyboarding skills.
