Job Summary
Assist members with financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and related cash handling; open end loan advances, cashing checks, selling teller checks, processing Visa payments, and transferring funds as directed. Welcome members and provide routine information about services, cross-sell Credit Union offerings, and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (CTR reporting and suspicious-activity monitoring). Train and mentor new employees and perform miscellaneous duties such as typing, filing, computer input, and answering phones. Requires six months of cash handling experience and a high school diploma or GED; strong numerical memory, attention to detail, courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential.
