Job Summary
Process customer transactions efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payoffs, while recognizing cues to refer sales opportunities. Execute Renasant Bank service standards in every interaction, maintaining knowledge of regulations and policies to mitigate risk for the customer and bank. Balance the ATM and vault, order supplies, and perform branch capture procedures. Assist the Head Teller on operational assessments and may coach or mentor teammates. Serve as a role model in all facets of the teller role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate with customers and identify opportunities to help customers with their financial needs by identifying cues and clues while processing their transaction
- 10-Key skills
- Mathematical skills, including the ability to count cash and coin in a fast paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of and the ability to learn bank products and solutions
- Ability to travel for training, other development opportunities, and between branches, as needed
- Minimum of 1 year successful teller experience
- Minimum of 1 year previous back-up Head Teller experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year teller experience and/or previous cash handling experience
- 6 months of customer service experience
