Job Summary
Process complex multi-step teller transactions, receive checks and cash for deposits, and resolve customer service issues while maintaining strict confidentiality. Open deposit accounts, sell bank products, and proactively uncover customer needs by initiating sales calls via phone or Zoom to meet weekly branch goals. Refer clients to appropriate business partners and consistently meet or exceed sales referral goals by maintaining a well-developed knowledge of all products and services. Deliver superior customer service with a friendly demeanor, ensuring timely correspondence and problem resolution while adhering to operational standards for security, risk management, and compliance. Complete required training for all bank policies and procedures, maintain accurate balancing and error records, and perform special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-year related work experience in customer service
- Daily reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. consistently
- Must be able to travel to attend internal education and meetings which in some circumstances could include overnight stay
- Travel also required to fill in at other branches as needed
- Must be able to meet scheduled working hours as designated by manager
- Responsible for meeting Retail Branch Standards which includes dress code
- Role requires consistent standing to perform role
- Bending or squatting may also be required to access night drops, coin machines, vaults, ATM, etc. based upon the branch set up
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail
- Proficient in basic computer operations and standard applications, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate job-specific software to perform daily tasks with accuracy and efficiency
