Job Summary
Teller – part-time role within Wells Fargo's National Branch Network. The role focuses on delivering a positive, reliable branch experience by accurately processing routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing), welcoming customers, and guiding them to digital tools or the appropriate team member. You will build relationships with customers, identify potential product or service needs, and refer to bankers for detailed guidance while maintaining accuracy, risk controls, and strong teamwork to ensure smooth branch operations.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of interacting with customers experience
- Proven cash-handling experience
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and controls while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to recognize potential risk, ask questions, and appropriately escalate concerns
- Educate customers on digital banking tools to improve convenience
- Ability to understand customer needs, identify referral and service opportunities
