Job Summary
Greet members and provide exceptional in-person service while processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and routine transactions. Balance your cash drawer with accuracy, assist with account questions and basic digital banking support, and issue cards or handle check orders. Identify member needs to recommend appropriate credit union products and maintain security by following all cash-handling procedures. Support the branch team with daily tasks, provide coverage at nearby locations as needed, and travel to assist with staffing across the region. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience (customer service or cash handling preferred)
- Friendly, outgoing, and member-focused personality
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with computers, cash handling, and basic math
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
- Flexibility to support rotating schedules, including Saturdays
- Willingness to travel to nearby branches to support staffing and service need
- Good credit standing (verified prior to interview)
- Successful background check and drug screening upon offer
