Job Summary
Part-Time Teller at Nusenda Credit Union's Enchanted Hills Branch. Responsibilities include processing member financial transactions with high accuracy (cash, negotiable instruments, account transfers, loan/credit card payments), using a consultative needs-based approach to educate members and refer to specialized departments, assisting with opening/closing procedures, vault duties and cash ordering, and assisting management with training of new and existing tellers. Requires one to three years of related experience (banking preferred) and at least a high school education equivalent. Candidate should demonstrate strong service delivery, numerical accuracy, ability to manage multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, and communicate proactively in a fast-paced branch environment.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years of similar or related experience
- Previous banking experience preferred
- Equivalent to a high school education
- Advance knowledge of service delivery operations
- Accuracy in numbers, procedural detail, processing and balancing negotiable instruments
- Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate
