Job Summary
Accept deposits, cash checks, and process customer transactions while maintaining accurate records for deposits, withdrawals, and negotiable instruments. Open and close individual and commercial accounts, prepare BSA reports, and handle vault operations, ATM settlement, and ATM cash ordering. Assist walk-in and telephone customers with inquiries, answer phones, sort daily mail, and process check orders. Provide guidance on personal and business banking products including CDs, HSAs, and IRAs to meet sales goals. Work flexible hours including weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of 24 months of prior banking experience
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (if branch is open on weekends)
- Full knowledge of personal and business banking products offered
- Basic knowledge of all banking regulations applicable to the job function
- Knowledge of general banking principles and banking regulations
- Skill in communicating with clients and co-workers in courteous and professional manner
- Skill in operating computer terminals and printers, back counter capture machine, coin machine and copier
- Skills in effectively listening to customers and making appropriate referrals
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function as a team player
Desired Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer contact experience preferred
