Job Summary
Teller providing branch customer experience through transactional processing, lobby management, and digital engagement. Responsibilities include processing a variety of financial transactions accurately per Bank Policy, balancing cash, addressing customer needs with solutions, educating customers via digital demonstrations, identifying self-service opportunities, and escalating or resolving account services issues. Responsibilities also include handling consumer AML/BSA/KYC related activities, logging customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with risk controls and regulatory standards while promoting the M&T Bank brand. The role supports cross-selling by transitioning identified sales opportunities to appropriate banking partners and performing routine branch operations (e.g., cash ordering, vault, ATM, and wire transfer activities) in a customer-centric, compliant, and risk-aware environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling experience
- Proven verbal communication skills
