Job Summary
Conduct transactions with speed and accuracy, handling cash, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while safeguarding bank assets. Set up and balance teller stations, record sales of monetary instruments, and maintain a well-stocked teller area. Cross-sell bank products and services, exercise judgment on check cashing decisions, and assist with vault, ATM, and coin machine balancing. Perform basic new consumer account openings and adhere to BSA/AML compliance training. Float between branch locations as needed, requiring vehicle use during and after business hours. Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain alertness in a moderate noise environment.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others
- 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
- Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement
- Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out simple multi-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with limited variables

- Employee must be available to float between work locations as needed
- Must be flexible in availability for work schedule
