Job Summary
Conduct high-speed, accurate cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments while safeguarding bank assets. Set up and balance teller stations, record monetary instrument sales, and maintain a stocked, neat work area. Cross-sell bank products and services to customers, exercise judgment on check cashing and holds, and assist with vault, ATM, and coin machine balancing. Complete required BSA/AML compliance training and open basic new consumer accounts. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while lifting up to 50 lbs of coin bags. Work flexible schedules with potential alternative location assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to four years high school or GED
- 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations
- Basic math skills
- 10-Key
- Positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance
- Must be flexible in availability for work schedule
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision
- Must be able to work an alternative location within the region or market
